❌ MyTips — This Tool Has Been Deprecated
Hello everyone,
After some careful consideration, I’ve decided to officially deprecate one of my earliest mini-projects: MyTips — your personal random tips generator.
This tool will remain available as an archived download for anyone curious, but it will no longer receive updates, support, or continued development.
🧭 Why Deprecate MyTips?
When I first created MyTips, it was meant to be a lightweight, fun experiment — a desktop app that delivers small pieces of wisdom, advice, and inspiration one click at a time. It was built with simplicity in mind: just a message box, a single button, and a pool of randomized tips that would surprise you with something new every time.
It worked. It did what it was meant to do. And I was proud of how compact and functional it was.
But as time has gone on, so have my ambitions.
I’ve been shifting my focus toward larger, more meaningful projects — like full games, tools, and interactive systems that go far beyond a single pop-up window. Keeping smaller projects like MyTips alive takes time and mental energy, and it doesn’t make sense to hold onto it while I’m building the next generation of creative tools and experiences.
Deprecating MyTips isn’t giving up. It’s moving forward — respectfully closing one chapter so that a new one can begin.
📚 What Will Happen to the Tips?
This part’s important — and kind of special:
💡 All the tips contained in MyTips will not be lost.
They will be referenced, reused, or reimagined in other upcoming tools and projects.
Think of the tips inside MyTips as seeds.
While the original app is no longer active, those seeds will be planted in new places — whether inside a desktop assistant, a game loading screen, a fake OS interface, or something entirely unexpected.
So if you liked the vibe of MyTips — its tone, its advice, or even its randomness — then stay tuned. You’ll see its spirit live on.
📦 For Archive Purposes — Original Description
I want to preserve the original listing here as a way to remember what MyTips was for those who never got to try it:
